What does Elgar do after dark?
Find out as the Elgar Birthplace Museum takes part in Museums at Night 2013 on Thursday 16th May from 7:30-9:30pm.
Ever wondered what a museum looks like after all the visitors have gone and it begins to get dark? Find out on Thursday 16th May 2013 when the Elgar Birthplace Museum will open to visitors between 7.30pm and 9.30pm as part of “Museums at Night”. In addition the Cottage garden will be decorated with lights for the occasion and visitors can make a wish at Elgar’s Well. Light refreshments, many originating from the Victorian and Edwardian eras, will also be available for visitors to taste. Dr Donald Hunt will be playing tunes on the piano from the Victorian and Edwardian period during the evening.
Tickets for the event are £3.50 per person and available from the Museum on 01905 333224 or on the door on the night.
