Our suggested wording to leave a share of your estate; "Subject to the payment of my debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, I give (the whole / ..........%) of my estate not otherwise disposed of by this my will to the Elgar Birthplace Museum, Crown East Lane, Lower Broadheath, WR2 6RH, Registered Charity Number 266849, for the general purposes of the Elgar Birthplace Museum and I declare that the receipt of their Treasurer or other proper officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge."
2. A Pecuniary or Cash Legacy is a specified sum of money from your estate.
Suggested wording to leave a specified sum; "I give free of tax to the Elgar Birthplace Museum, Crown East Lane, Lower Broadheath, Worcester, WR2 6RH, Registered Charity Number 266849, the sum of £............. for the purposes of the Elgar Birthplace Museum and I declare that the receipt of their Treasurer or other proper officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge."
3. A Specific Legacy is a particular asset such as shares, property, or other non monetary gifts.
Suggested wording to leave a specific item; "I give to the Elgar Birthplace Museum, Crown East Lane, Lower Broadheath, Worcester, WR2 6RH, Registered Charity Number 266849, absolutely .......................(please enter description of your gift) for the purpose of the Elgar Birthplace Museum and I declare that the receipt of their Treasurer or other proper officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge."
